HeiniCoop Uno for approx. 10 chickens

Build Summary

Add to cart

Our UNO was designed as a chicken coop for approx. 8 to 10 normal-sized chickens. It is one of our small chicken coop models and is often purchased by private households. The UNO is also increasingly being used in agriculture . Several retirement homes already have a few UNO models in their gardens. This offers the residents their own eggs for breakfast and constant variety from the colorful flock of chickens.
Like all our chicken coops, our UNO is designed for species-appropriate chicken farming . It offers plenty of light for the chickens and has a tried-and-tested coop climate system. In addition, the sophisticated construction with the external laying nests and the detachable perches offers us humans a lot of comfort.

Our UNO chicken coop, like all our coops, is made of only the best materials such as sandwich panels and aluminum. These panels have very good insulation values. That’s why all our coops are 100% winter-proof. Finally, all HeiniCoop chicken coops are very easy to clean because there are no cracks for mites to hide in.

You are welcome to contact us before you buy a stable. We can also advise you by telephone.

UNO Chicken Coops – High-quality, durable, and built for everyday use.

These are the three core principles behind our chicken coop production.

The founder of the HeiniCoop team grew up with chickens from an early age, and this passion has stayed with him ever since. With around 50 years of experience in poultry keeping, he is a true expert in the field.

No coop leaves our production facility without final approval from our senior master. Only perfectly crafted coops receive the HeiniCoop seal of quality before being delivered to our customers.

Over the years, he developed the first prototypes initially for his own chickens, and later for friends. He experimented and refined every detail until the perfect chicken coop was created — a HeiniCoop.

Once he was fully satisfied, the former industrial hall builder began his new life’s work. Since then, several new coop models have been added to the range.

We only use premium, easy-to-clean, and durable materials. That’s why you’ll enjoy your coop every single day when visiting your chickens.

Excellent customer support and high customer satisfaction define our service.

Questions and Answers:

How many chickens fit in the coop?
Our recommendation refers to standard-sized chickens.

For example, a DUO VISTA coop is designed for 12–20 standard-sized chickens.

If you keep very large breeds like Jersey Giants or Brahmas, fewer chickens will comfortably fit on the perches. With smaller breeds or bantams, more chickens can fit.

Chickens like to cuddle, but they also need space.

In winter, they sit close together, which may make it seem like more chickens could fit — but each one still needs space to jump onto the perch.

In summer, they prefer more distance.

Pecking order

With overcrowding, lower-ranking chickens may not get space on the perch and will have to sleep on the floor.

Too few chickens in winter

Too few chickens are also not ideal, as they heat the coop with body warmth. A well-insulated coop is not heated — the chickens themselves provide warmth.

Chicken Coop FAQs
Do I need a foundation for a HeiniCoop?
A foundation is not required. The coop is fully closed and insulated from below, so predators cannot dig in.

However, placing it directly on soil is not recommended. We suggest using concrete slabs (e.g., 50×50 cm) under the feet to prevent sinking.

If your terrain is uneven, you can level it using multiple slabs. A slight slope towards the door is beneficial for cleaning.

What customizations are possible?
We offer adjustments for nesting boxes, perch height, window positioning, drainage direction, and chicken door placement.

All adjustments depend on the internal structure of the coop and must be planned accordingly.

How is the coop delivered?
Delivery is typically via freight carrier to the curb.

Smaller models can be unloaded without additional equipment. Larger models (e.g., DUO) require a forklift or loader provided by the customer.

Self-pickup is also possible.

Can I order custom sizes?
Unfortunately, custom dimensions are not possible, as our system is optimized for material efficiency and transport logistics.

Solid materials, a sturdy construction, and high-quality workmanship ensure that the coop reliably withstands wind, weather, and daily use.

The well-thought-out design ensures that the coop does not warp and remains permanently stable – even under intensive everyday use.

Sauberkeit

The coop is designed to be especially easy to keep clean.
Large doors provide excellent access to the interior, allowing bedding to be changed quickly and the coop to be cleaned without hassle.

A clean environment is essential for the health of your chickens and helps prevent parasites and diseases.

Wärme und Stallschutz

The UNO chicken coop is designed to protect your chickens from wind, weather, and drafts.
Its insulated construction ensures a balanced internal climate and protects the animals from strong temperature fluctuations.

At the same time, large insulated glass windows allow plenty of natural light into the coop, creating a comfortable environment for your chickens.

Lebensdauer

A HeiniCoop chicken coop is designed for a long service life.
High-quality materials and solid craftsmanship ensure that the coop can be used reliably for many years.

Instead of having to replace your coop regularly, you invest once in quality that lasts over time.

Lebensqualität

The UNO chicken coop provides your chickens with sufficient space, light, and a comfortable indoor climate.
This encourages calm behavior and supports their natural well-being.

A well-designed environment has a positive impact on the health, activity, and egg-laying performance of your chickens.

Lieferung montiert

The chicken coop is delivered fully assembled.
This means you don’t need to build it yourself—you can set it up and start using it immediately after delivery.

This saves you time and ensures that the coop is professionally assembled.

High-quality, durable, suitable for everyday use = quality from a specialist

HeiniCoop stands for quality from Germany

Mobile chicken coop (roll package)

With the roll package, your HeiniCoop chicken coop becomes mobile in no time at all. Castors mounted under the hutch make it easy to move the hutch to a new location in the garden or run.

This protects the soil and your chickens always have fresh grass under their feet.

Automatic chicken door

The automatic chicken door opens and closes the coop automatically - without any action on your part. A reliable control system moves the door automatically at the desired times or depending on daylight.

This makes everyday life more comfortable and increases the safety of your animals at the same time. Even if you are away for a longer period of time, the coop is reliably closed and your chickens are protected from nocturnal predators.

Additional window in the chicken coop

An additional window brings more daylight into the barn and ensures a pleasant barn climate. Chickens particularly benefit from natural light conditions as they feel more comfortable and can follow their natural rhythm.

At the same time, you get a better view into the barn. This means you can quickly check how your chickens are doing at any time without having to enter the coop.

XL door package

The XL door package gives your coop a significantly larger chicken door. This allows larger chicken breeds or several animals to enter the run at the same time.

The larger opening also makes it easier to clean the coop and access it when handling your chickens on a daily basis. This extension is a practical and convenient solution, especially for larger barns.

Light in the henhouse

With a power connection and light in the coop, you can provide your henhouse with optimum lighting at all times. This makes it easier to check on your animals - especially in the early hours of the morning or in the evening.

The lighting also allows you to take better care of the hutch, for example when cleaning or collecting the eggs. This means you always have an overview, even in poor lighting conditions.
