Chicken coop material

Chicken coop material aluminum

The right chicken coop material is very important when building our coops.

An internal, welded skeleton made of 5 cm aluminum tubes, which stands on feet or castors, forms the indestructible basis of our stables.

The illustration on the right shows a DUO skeleton
after welding.

Larger barns, such as the DUO or TRES models, consist of several frames of the UNO barn type welded together.

Chicken coop material sandwich panels

We use insulated, 4 cm thick sandwich panels for the floor and walls of our chicken coops .

These consist of a hard foam core surrounded by 2 sendzimir galvanized, colour powder-coated steel sheets, which ensures optimum insulation. Our sandwich panels are white on the inside and available in green or red on the outside.

The roofs of our stables (except for CERO Maxi) consist of additionally reinforced, 10 cm thick sandwich elements. All components and openings are framed with U-profiles made of galvanized, dark grey painted sheet steel .

Other materials for the chicken coop

We even manufacture smaller components such as guttering, downpipes, window surrounds, nesting edges and brackets for perches from indestructible aluminum .

Only the perches on which the chickens spend the night are made of wood -for the sake of the chickens.
